Preparing Child Christmas Shoe Gift Box

Please say an extra prayer for the child receiving my operation christmas child shoe box. Every year it's the same. I love carefully picking out all of the wonderful things to put in the box... then find myself getting angry and frustrated while wrapping and cramming all the stuff in there. So fun! We did ours last night! We are sending ours out next week. I let Lochlin and Mairin pick out things for kids their ages. Lochlin is so sweet and goes around the house filling up bags with clothes and toys, and I keep having to remind him that we buy new things for the shoeboxes and give the used things to Goodwill.The box is packed and sent. I stayed after church today and helped with the boxes that still needed put together, but all I did was wrap the boxes, that was enough! I felt good again when the project was done. Preparing those boxes are a highlight of our Christmas every year.
